I couldn’t run without music. That’s me. I’ve just gotta have it. I listen to all types of music but when I run I do prefer pop, dance, and rap. Kinda weird for someone that loves bluegrass too! Here are my favorite workouts songs from 2016:

  1. Just a Running Chick

Genesis, “Behind the Lines” and “Eleventh Earl of Mar,” which aren’t on my running playlist, but I hum them in my head if I don’t bring music. Currently, I’ve got Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York,” which I discovered after watching “The Secret Life of Pets,” some Michael Jackson (Don’t Stop til You Get Enough and Wanna Be Startin Something), Rolling Stones’ “Shattered,” “Happy,” MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This,” Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” and some other old and new tunes.
